Lovely spot with proper local flavors. We had typical bean purée, a gorgeous fried cheese that was perfectly crisp on the outside and melty inside, and a moussaka with a nice little twist that made it stand out. Friendly service and a relaxed vibe made it even better.

Me and my dad had very lovely experience here. The staff is absolutely amazing and sweet. The food was delicious, my dad especially enjoyed the fresh squid, so definitely give it a try. We will definitely come here again!

Can’t really put a good photo because the food was too tasty to even bother take photos for. Great service an owner that cares for his business and explains every detail in story. Get the local fish, ask for good whine recommendations and try the tomato salad. Absolutely great. 👍

Lovely taverna, very tasty, massive portions and great prices. Their steak was excellent as was the selection of fresh salads with local produce.

We wandered by this wonderful restaurant and decided to stop for lunch and I'm so glad we did! The service was warm and exceptional! And the food was also exceptional in its quality and quantity. We ordered the assorted meat platter, which came with plenty of fries and tender grilled pita bread, and one of their cheese appetizers (Sfela / Fire Feta). Looking forward to going again!

And the chairs are very comfortable. In my opinion, I think that this place has really good cheese. I think it’s pretty helpful that they have WI-FI. I’ve never been in a restaurant that has so great, and unspeakable foods, so I’m giving this place, five stars because it has unspeakable food and comfortable chairs.
This review was made by Ioanna.The food was pretty good, but the on thing that I didn’t understand was that there was no desert on the menu and when i went to go ask a man about the desert he said that there was. So we ordered some caramel, biscuit and vanilla ice-cream which was amazing!

One of the Best Beef Dishes I've had in Kalamata. Amazing, friendly service. Highly recommended.

This place is amazing! Food was really good & big portions. We all really enjoyed our meals. The restaurant is located in a cozy street.

We went to Mosaiko twice during our stay in Kalamata which says something in itself.
It's in a great location on a small pedestrianised road near the old centre of the town. It is a family run restaurant and they care about quality. They offer traditional Greek fare, and make a point of using locally sourced food of high quality which is then prepared and cooked very welll.
Important to the experience was the attentiveness of all the staff. Without being intrusive they worked hard to.make us feel welcome chatting with us at length about the town and Greece in general.
Great food, great service, great location. GoVery good service. We were treated respectfully having 3 small kids, which is not what I can say for the other related restaurants in that area.
